Sunday School Teacher Training
May 18th was a special evening at Denmark. It was the first Sunday School teacher training we've ever had.
We had a good group come out for a time of learning with Pastor Luke and a time of sharing together. This is just one
of the things that the Christian Education Board is doing to improve the teaching ministry of Denmark. We are tentatively
planning another teacher training event in the fall.

Mother's Day Banquette
On May 4th the ladies gathered at the Pioneer's Cabin for a mother daughter banquette. There were 39 women who attended!
They had a great time of fellowship, fun and good food. The men also met that evening. They had a cookout at the
church which was well attended with 18 guys and a lot of food. Join us on June 8th for a family night at the church
at 6:30pm. Lee Valerius will be demonstrating Tae Kwon Do.

Drama from Duquoin
On May 15th we were blessed to have the drama team from the First Baptist Church or Duqoin come and perform in our morning
worship service. They are a very gifted group of young people serving the Lord through interpretive movement.
We enjoyed having them lead us into a deeper worship experience, and pray blessings on their ministry.
