American Baptist Campus Ministry at SIU Carbondale:
This missional work has a special place in our hearts because the campus minister is Mollie Dunn, wife of Lukas
Dunn, pastor of Denmark Baptist Church. So please forgive this shameless advertisement of this ministry.
Mollie Dunn started as campus pastor at the beginning of July of 2003. Since that time she has done some cleaning
and renovations of the campus house which is located on the corner of College and Hayes in Carbondale. She has had an
open house, and worship gatherings which have been fruitful. She visits the college campus regularly and has been giving
presentations, as well as preaching, at Area IV American Baptist Churches. Presently she has started a campaign to raise
funds for a new roof, video projector and other necessities for an effective campus ministry.

Lake Benton Baptist Camp:
Lake Benton is a camp in our area that is always in need of support. We support the camp as much as we can because
of the powerful ministry it has for our youth in the summer programming. Currently the camp is working on renovation
the swimming pool. As all the kids will tell you, the pool will be a great blessing on hot summer afternoons!
